Project#1

This project is the exaggeration of one of the several plagues that god sent down during the times of Moses and the Pharaoh. I chose to do this project because i wanted to try out sculpting something with clay. I wanted to see how it would fair in front of a  backdrop; like a prop in a play.

This is the first sketch

 

This is the toad i molded out of clay. It is on a wooden board I spray painted  black. I started to painting process by mixing green,red, and black together to get a dark tone of green. The eye balls are yellow beads.

This is the finished sculpture sprayed with gloss to make the texture more of that of a toads skin.

                 

This is what i used to line the cotton balls on to make the smoke and fire.

This is what smoke and fire (made from cotton) looks like after i used grey paint primer, yellow and red spray paints, clay, and paperclip (to hold it up right)
